Well, we could have been on a COPS episode if there were TV cameras around! When we got to the trailer park in Fairview/Portland, there was a trailer next to us that had some interesting things going on with it. The first night we were there, the residents of the trailer were banging around so much inside, it was bringing other folks out of their motorhomes to see what all the noise was about. Then at 11:30 pm, Jimmy showed up, louding banging on the door and asking to be let in!

The next morning Robert went to the office to see if they were going to be staying long. If they were staying, we were moving. Turns out they had already been talked to and in fact the police were on their way. Two patrol cars showed up and talked to the residents, four of them and none related. From the looks of the people, they were definitely using drugs. The "spokeswoman" for the group was having trouble keeping her story straight so she ended up 'going downtown' if you know what we mean!

After she was taken away in a matching pair of silver bracelets, the manager approached us asking Robert if he'd like to make $50.00 by towing their trailer to another location. The timing didn't work out for us so the ended up getting a tow from someone else. At least they were gone!

Maybe this is why our week in Portland was so disjointed?! Bad mojo right next to us on the first night!
