This is the collection of all the pictures we've had on the RVGypsies.US website during our travels. They are listed in order of appearance, from newest to oldest.

This picture was taken on the sand dunes of the Oregon coast, just south of Florence, OR in October 2007. Baylee (or Baylee-girl as we affectionately called her) has been with Joss and Robert since she was a pup in 1996. Her mom was a rescue dog in San Clemente, CA. Baylee was part Rottweiler, part German Shepard and maybe a bit something else. Mostly she was full of love and protection for the boys. She was the most tolerent dog as the boys climbed all over her since they were old enough to crawl. Baylee had a special bond with Daddy and she was certainly a "Daddy's girl". All throughout our trip, rain, shine, snow or sub-freezing temperatures, Robert would be up at 6:30 to take her out. She would wait at the bottom of the stairs and whimper just enough to wake him up (which wasn't hard to do).
Towards the end of our travels, Baylee was having more and more difficulty getting into the trailer. While on the road, we had several different ramps to help her get in and out. Without the ramp, Robert would lift all 80 pounds of her in and out (kept him in shape...a little). After we stopped traveling, Baylee slowed down a lot and began to show signs of muscle atrophy. The vet said it was probably due to lack of use but as it got worse, we suspected something else. In the end, she most likely had some form of cancer. She didn't appear to be in pain at any time, though she was very stoic so it was hard to tell. She was and is a most beloved part of our family and we miss her very much.
Rest in peace little girl.
This was taken on a huge piece of driftwood (log/tree) on the Dungeness Spit in Sequim. The Dungeness Spit is the largest natural sand spit in the world. You can walk out to the lighthouse but you have to stay on the North side of the Spit. The South side is a wildlife refuge with a protected bay. We haven't made it to the lighthouse yet, but come Spring, we'll be there.

The RVGypsies after one month in our new hometown of Sequim, WA. This picture was taken on Thanksgiving Day 2008 by our friends Pat and Frank (thanks guys!).

After criss-crossing the country for 14 months, covering 31,000 miles and visiting 28 states, we've decided that Sequim, Washington is going to be our new home. We visited Sequim in December of 2007 and really liked it's proximity to the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, the Dungeness Spit, rivers and lakes. Not to mention the very friendly people. Our last "Trip Journal" was about Sequim if you're interested in more info. On the navigation menu from any page, click on "Trip Journal" (or just click HERE.)

We visited the Laura Ingalls Wilder Homestead in De Smet, SD in late August. They had a momma cat with 5 kittens that were SO adorable (aren't all kittens?). We found out they were going to give the kittens away after Labor Day so we conveniently decided to stick around. Joss is holding Charlotte, while Robby gives "bunny ears" to Half-Pint. Joss said the kittens had to have names that were associated with the Little House on the Prairie books. Charlotte was Laura's doll's name, while Half-Pint was one of Pa's nicknames for Laura.
Go back to the home page and click your mouse on one of the kittens faces to go to a close up of them both!
After we had to miss the Laura Ingalls Wilder (Little House on the Prairie author) home in Mansfield, MO, Joss said "we're going to see her home in De Smet, SD!" But when we got to looking at the map, we saw that her other home in Walnut Grove, MN wasn't that far...so that's where we went first after leaving Valentine, NE. So here we are in our new period costumes!

While staying in Estes Park, Colorado, we visited the Rocky Mountains National Park several times. This picture was taken on a peak close to the Alpine visitors center. If you've never visited the Rocky Mountains, put it on your list of places to see (assuming you like this kind of thing!). We've seen the Cascades, Sierra Nevadas, Applachians, Blue Ridge Mtns and Smokey Mtns on our journey. The Rocky Mountains are the most awe inspiring we've seen!

This picture was taken a few days after we'd gone to see a performance of the Grand Ole Opry show. We were all "duded up" that night and lookin' good. Unfortunately the picture we took wasn't looking so good, so we took this one. As you can see, Robby has "discovered" the bunny ears trick. In case you're wondering...Robert's shirt says "Paddle or Die". He got it at the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia.

To celebrate Sawyer's 5th birthday, we went to the "largest waterpark in the Carolina's", Emerald Point in Greensboro. Our dear friend Paige, went with us and was a real trooper to hang in there with the boys all day. She even went on a few of the rides under a double dog dare threat from Robby!
Outside of Charleston, SC on St. John's Island is the Charleston Tea Plantation. It is the only tea plantation in the United States and makes some tasty tea! This tour bus was bought by the owner on eBay from Churchill Downs.

Way down South in Thibodaux, Louisiana, we visited Zam's Swamp Tour. This little guy was surprisingly docile to hold.
If you're ever in Albuquerque, NM, the Gypsies recommend a stop at the Internatinal Rattlesnake Museum in Old Town.
We had a great time in Bisbee, AZ exploring some of Robert's roots. This Jeep tour was a lot of fun and educational. Taken in February, 2008.
While we were in Vancouver, BC Canada, we went to the top of Grosse Mountain to visit Santa.
Early in the trip, we visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. This picture was taken in front of a waterfall on the way down to Crystal Cavern in Sequoia.

This was our first homepage picture. It was taken about September 2006, almost a year before we left on our trip.
