Even before she heard Oprah say “How can I be of service?” Joss was asking Source how she could help other people and the world. Helping others has always been a big part of her life. So when we choose to take this trip around the country it seemed natural to her that we also make this a trip of service. Robert and she saw this as a great way to also teach the children being of service to others by getting out there and doing it! Throughout the trip we will be asking the Universe to deliver to us different ways we can be of service to others and the Earth with our family. Follow along to see what is delivered to us.
Service Project #1

Picking up trash wherever we are. We always carry little blue bags in case Baylee (our dog) has to do her business. These bags come in handy to pick up "microtrash" (and some macro-trash) at the campgrounds or on the walks we take. It is super easy to fill a bag and makes the area look a little bit better for the next person to enjoy. Microtrash, in case you were wondering, describes the little (imagine that) trash that is often overlooked. There's an expression in the Geocaching world called CITO. It stands for Cache In, Trash Out. As Geocaching often takes us to new and sometimes remote places, it's nice to help out the local environment by picking up a little trash!
